Job Summary
Versatile Logistics is seeking dedicated Hot Shot Drivers (Non-CDL and CDL) to operate under our established MC number (10+ years). As an owner-operator with your own hot shot truck (e.g., 1-ton pickup with gooseneck trailer), you’ll drive long-haul and short-haul routes, covering 2,500–3,500 miles weekly. Earn a gross revenue of $8,000–$9,000 per week with our comprehensive dispatch support and included insurance (cargo and general liability). We provide a seamless onboarding process, including ELD guidance and compliance support, so you can focus on driving and earning.
What We Offer:

• Operate under our MC number with over 10 years of authority
• Full dispatch services for consistent loads
• Cargo and auto insurance covered (you provide truck liability insurance)
• Weekly loaded miles: 2,500–3,500
• Weekly gross earnings: $8,000–$9,000
• 30-minute onboarding process
• Compliance support, including Motive ELD device setup and DOT inspection guidance

Requirements:

• Must own a hot shot truck (e.g., 1-ton pickup with gooseneck trailer)
• Non-CDL or Class A/B CDL accepted with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with maximum 2 points.
• Must have your own Auto Liability Insurance
• Valid medical card (for CDL drivers)
• Ability to obtain driving record from DMV website ($20 fee)
• Minimum 1 year of hot shot or OTR driving experience
• Commitment to safety and DOT compliance
• Purchase of Motive ELD device required
• Minimum 2 years Over the road experience with CDL class A/Non CDL
• If CDL class A then must need to provide pre employment drug test under Around The Clark Trucking LLC
• Must have own IRP plates and IFTA tags if CDL A

Documents Required:

· DOT Inspection within the last 30 days

· Auto liability Insurance

· Truck Registration

· DOT Medical Card

· Driving License (Front & Back) of owner and driver

· ELD Username and password

· License plate pictures

· Truck & Trailer VIN pictures

· MVR

· W9 form

· Direct Deposit information

Responsibilities:

• Operate your hot shot truck for OTR deliveries
• Follow dispatch instructions for efficient load planning
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
• Communicate regularly with dispatch for load updates
