At Hands N Paws, we're looking for passionate and reliable Pet Care Techs to join our team in Columbus, Ohio! If spending your day with dogs and cats sounds like your ideal job, this might just be the perfect role for you.

• Bring confidence to their role while working independently but can also contribute to a team environment.
• Bonus if you're also great with cats!

Requirements:

• Must be a full-time Ohio resident and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for job-related tasks.
• Must be active and able to handle walks and playtime with pets.

Compensation and Important Details:

Pay Structure:
Team members earn a 50% commission on services , with pay determined by the duration of each visit. Base rates start at approximately $11for a 20-minute service, $13for a 30-minute service, $18 for a 45-minute service, and $23 for a 60-minute service. In addition to base pay, there are numerous opportunities to boost earnings, including premiums for extra pets, last-minute requests, federal holiday services, and client tips, which can add an extra $5–$15 per visit !

Work Availability:
Your schedule is driven by client demand. While we are consistently busy year-round with regular dog walking services, which typically occur Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM, certain times of the year see increased demand. Holidays and mid-summer vacation periods are especially busy for pet sitting, making your availability during these times even more valuable.

We are seeking individuals who can accommodate this level of flexibility, preferably those who can work full-time, handling 6–8 services daily , or part-time, with at least 2–3 services daily . Whether it’s walking dogs during the week or providing pet sitting during high-demand periods, we need team members ready to step up and meet our clients' needs.

Service Area:
Our service areas include (but aren't limited to)  Central Columbus , Bexley , Upper Arlington , and parts of north and south Columbus . Candidates must be willing to drive liberally within the boundaries of Interstate 270 to provide services in these various areas.
