Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, licensed, and experienced small general contractor firm to partner with us as a subcontractor for a commercial project in Edwardsville, IL 62025
This is an excellent opportunity for a smaller, professional firm looking to build consistent work and grow through a trusted partnership.
Responsibilities:
Execute various phases of construction including painting, framing, drywall, finishing, small remodels, and general site work
Manage materials, labor, and scheduling for assigned tasks
Communicate effectively with our project manager and adhere to project timelines
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Comply with local building codes and inspection requirements
Requirements:
Fully licensed and insured as a general contractor
Proven track record of quality craftsmanship and reliability
Ability to manage small crews
Strong communication and time management skills
Own tools, equipment, and transportation
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial remodels/renovations
Knowledge of permitting processes and local inspection protocols
References from previous partnerships
