Essential Job Duties:

  • Possess understanding and daily demonstration of all departmental SOPs
  • Must be guest-centric in approach to the leadership of all shifts, situations, and conversations
  • Aim to resolve guest complaints promptly and completely with a professional demeanor
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
  • Lead the training of all staff, and, further provide opportunities for development and growth within each role
  • Lead all hiring and firing conversations, including counseling and coaching sessions
  • Conflict resolution and crisis management for any emergency, complaint, or error
  • Maintain professional relationships and healthy personal boundaries with hourly staff
  • Possess advanced knowledge of all menu items, spirits, wine, and beer to better inform guests and staff
  • Demonstrate healthy labor activities including weekly schedule audits, daily labor adjustments, and payroll reconciliation
  • Perform weekly and monthly inventory of ordered beer, wine, spirits, and other goods
  • Adhere to SOPs for required payroll and accounting duties
  • Meet with the Food & Beverage Director weekly for reporting and coaching
  • Maintains a well-polished appearance following all grooming standards and dress codes
  • Carry out office-related tasks such as daily paperwork, interoffice communication, assisting the F&B Director with any other duties as reasonably requested

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of previous experience leading a hospitality team required
  • 2-5 years of previous experience in a restaurant setting required
  • Upscale dining or high-end restaurant experience/sensibility: a plus!
  • All levels of wine/spirits knowledge considered, though advanced/specialized knowledge in these areas: a plus!
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Positive attitude and a team-forward mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required to complete job duties - able to work in a standing position for routine periods.

Expected Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
