Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team and focus on Accounts Receivable and Collections projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and contribute to the efficiency of our accounts receivable and collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable.
• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
• Review credit terms and credit limits.
• Develop consolidated reports of all customers, including their collection history, credit terms, and credit limits.
• Recommend and assist in implementing standardized credit terms and limits.
• Assist in the development of policies related to accounts receivable and collections.
• Contact customers to update tax exempt certificates.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience or coursework in accounts receivable or finance is a plus.
