Position Summary: Full Time Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm (Monday – Friday) Compensation: $13.00-$14.00 per hour - Based on experience Perform day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations covering our facility. To assure that our linen is processed in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Job Duties:

  • Practice Faithful Caring tenets at work.
  • Responsible for operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, etc.) in accordance with department practices.
  • Responsible for sorting and loading washers according to department practices.
  • Responsible for picking up soiled linen and delivering clean linen in accordance with department practices.
  • Responsible for folding, hanging, and delivering residents’ personal linens in accordance with department practices.
  • Adjust daily par levels to meet customers’ needs as directed by the supervisor or manager.
  • Maintains and tracks daily poundage of all linen.
  • Tracks and monitors the delivery of clean linen carts according to department practices.
  • Responsible for labeling residents’ clean clothing and returning them to the units.
  • Answers the phone professionally.
  • Answers call lights.
  • Able to problem solve.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend labels or retain information taught by supervisor. Must be willing to follow direction and use body mechanics. Minimum Experience: Previous experience in laundry operations is helpful and will reduce the learning period to perform required duties. Top benefits:
