Military Sales & Account Manager (US Navy)

Location:  Remote (East Coast)

Compensation:  $80,000 - $95,000 (plus commission)

Are you a seasoned military professional with a strong network and deep understanding of military procurement and logistics? Do you have a passion for connecting military units with mission-critical resources? We are seeking a  Military Sales & Account Manager  to drive sales and expand relationships within the military and federal sectors.

 

In this role, you will leverage your military experience to identify needs, develop solutions, and foster lasting partnerships with key decision-makers across all branches of the military. Whether it’s tactical equipment, emergency response solutions, or base maintenance essentials, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring service members have access to the right resources when they need them.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand relationships with military and federal customers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Establish Dealer of Record agreements with supply chain partners, ensuring competitive pricing and availability.
  • Conduct research to uncover new business opportunities within the military sector and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support and seamless order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate customer data, tracking needs, opportunities, and trends using CRM tools.
  • Travel extensively (up to 50%) to military bases, trade shows, and industry events to build networks and generate leads.
  • Stay informed on military procurement processes, industry trends, and emerging needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum four (4) years of military service ( Senior NCO or Junior officer preferred )
  • Must have experience working with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and a strong understanding of its procurement processes and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of military and government bid processes and procurement strategies.
  • Strong existing military network with the ability to leverage relationships for business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools ( Salesforce preferred ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Must have the ability to access military installations and comply with all base entry requirements.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 with a lucrative commission structure.
  • Extensive travel covered by the company (flights, rental cars, meals, and expenses via company credit card).
